Training Director (Victim Services) - Sheffield, MA              $100,000-140,000

 

 

We are a leading organization in supporting survivors of sexual assault, as our Training Director. As a pivotal member of our Victim Services management team, you'll spearhead the entire training lifecycle, from assessment to evaluation, for both staff and volunteers of our esteemed National Sexual Assault Hotline and DoD Safe Helpline. Lead the charge in crafting dynamic, impactful training programs that empower our team to make a real difference in the lives of survivors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

​

  •  Maintain an expertise in training staff to provide services to victims of sexual violence. Training and services must be research-based and consistent with best practices in the fields of crisis intervention and sexual violence prevention and response.

  •  Manage team of training designers, developers and facilitators.

  •  Assess, manage and continually improve our core hotline and Safe Helpline training.

  •  Identify emerging training needs and develop new training modules.

  •  Develop new training courses as needed for the Department of Defense’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office (SAPRO).

  •  Manage the effective facilitation and delivery of courses, training materials and other resources through our LMS and training provided via Zoom. Training courses will include video and audio content.

  •  Ensure training meets standards for National Organization for Victim Assistance certification and CEU credits.

  •  Identify and collaborate with subject matter experts.

  •  All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

​

  •  Master’s degree in human services, education or a related field. 

  •  Minimum of ten years of experience managing a training program and team. 

  •  Experience in the field of crisis intervention or call center operations is a plus.

  •  Proven track record of success in building, implementing and managing the full learning lifecycle, including needs analysis, training strategy and development, delivery and evaluation of training programs.

  •  Strong knowledge of adult learning and development theory and instructional design.

  •  Must have a strong customer service focus and ability to work well within a team working towards targeted deadlines.

  •  Must be comfortable discussing issues surrounding sexual violence.

  •  Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
